- Help scale existing products as they are rolled out to a growing customer base.
- Improve backend architecture, observability, reliability, and code quality standards.
- Work within a flat engineering structure and collaborate directly with senior engineers and technical leadership.
- Make meaningful technical and product decisions in a fast-moving startup environment.
What We're Looking For
- 5–10 years of software engineering experience.
- Strong backend engineering skills with the ability to work across the full stack when needed.
- Experience working at an early-stage startup, ideally Pre-Seed through Series B.
- Demonstrated experience taking products or major features from zero to one.
- Experience building and scaling production backend systems.

About the Company
Our client is an early-stage, AI-native healthcare technology company building modern software for an industry still heavily reliant on legacy systems and manual administrative workflows.
The company's technology uses Generative AI to dramatically reduce the amount of time healthcare professionals spend on documentation and other administrative tasks, allowing them to spend more time focused on patient care.
The company has established strong product-market fit and is now expanding beyond its initial AI-powered product to build a broader platform designed to modernize core workflows across its healthcare vertical.
This is an opportunity to join a small, high-caliber team at an important stage of growth, with significant ownership over both the technical architecture and the products being built.
About the Team
The engineering organization is small, experienced, and highly collaborative. Engineers operate as generalists and are expected to take meaningful ownership across the product and technology stack.
The culture is product-oriented, mission-driven, and well suited for engineers who enjoy moving quickly, solving ambiguous problems, and seeing the direct impact of what they build.
As the company expands its platform, the engineering organization is beginning to add more specialized expertise while maintaining the ownership and autonomy of an early-stage startup.
The Product
The company is building an AI-native platform designed to reduce the administrative burden placed on healthcare professionals.
Its existing technology uses Generative AI to streamline complex documentation workflows that have traditionally required significant manual effort within outdated legacy systems.
The team is now expanding the platform to address a broader set of administrative and operational workflows, with the long-term goal of replacing legacy technology with a modern, AI-first experience.
