Senior Software Engineer

Our client, an established technology organization, is hiring six contract software engineers to join collaborative development teams focused on building and modernizing production software. These teams work in a highly collaborative style — mobbing and pair programming are part of the day-to-day — and AI-assisted development is central to how they work.

Key Details

• Interviews: Begin immediately
• Start Date: ASAP
• Contract Duration: Three engineers for 10 months and three engineers through the end of 2026, each with potential for extension
• Work Location: Fully remote, hybrid, or on-site — candidate's choice
• Compensation: Competitive hourly rate, based on experience

Required Skills — AI-Assisted Software Development (Mandatory)

Candidates must have hands-on experience using AI-powered software development tools as a core part of their daily engineering workflow.

Required experience with:

• Claude Code
• GitHub Copilot / Microsoft Copilot
• Other modern AI-assisted development tools

Ability to leverage AI tools to:

• Improve development velocity and code quality
• Assist with code generation, refactoring, testing, and troubleshooting
• Accelerate understanding and modernization of existing codebases
• Enhance collaboration during mobbing and pair-programming sessions

Core Technical Skills (Strong Plus)

• Strong experience with .NET
• Hands-on experience with mobbing and/or pair programming
• Proficient with Azure DevOps
• Excellent collaboration skills with the ability to work closely and continuously with other engineers

• React
• Android/iOS application development
