This team combines cutting-edge research with world-class engineering to develop open, impactful AI technologies spanning language models, multimodal systems, agentic AI, and large-scale machine learning infrastructure.

What You'll Do
- Build and optimize infrastructure supporting large language models, multimodal AI, and agentic systems, including training and inference pipelines, dataset curation, and large-scale data preprocessing.
- Design, train, and evaluate state-of-the-art multimodal models combining vision and language capabilities.
- Develop and improve agentic AI workflows involving planning, reasoning, tool use, and long-horizon task execution.
- Scope, prioritize, and lead research initiatives with a focus on high-impact experimentation.
- Bridge cutting-edge research with production-quality engineering through strong software development practices.
- Contribute to open-source AI initiatives through model releases, datasets, APIs, technical reports, and research artifacts.
What We're Looking For
- 4+ years of experience building machine learning infrastructure and training large-scale AI models.
- Deep expertise in deep learning, foundation models, or modern machine learning systems through industry experience and/or advanced research.
- Strong programming experience with Python and modern ML frameworks.
- Experience implementing experiments, analyzing results, and iterating on AI systems.
- Ability to work independently while collaborating closely with researchers and engineers.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Preferred Experience
Experience with one or more of the following:
- PyTorch and/or JAX
- Large-scale distributed training
- GPU programming (CUDA)
- Cloud infrastructure
- Docker or containerized environments
- LLM and VLM serving frameworks
- Reinforcement learning training frameworks
- AI model evaluation
- Vision-language models
- Mixture of Experts (MoE) architectures
- Post-training techniques including instruction tuning, reinforcement learning, and reasoning optimization
