Overview
A leading organization is expanding its internal mobile engineering capabilities and investing in modern, high-quality digital products. We’re hiring a Senior/Principal Android Engineer to help build and evolve the next generation of a flagship Android application.
You’ll work across core customer and revenue flows—including flight discovery, purchasing, merchandising, loyalty, and AI/ML-driven customization. This is a hands-on technical leadership role where you will influence system design, mentor fellow engineers, and help establish long-term development standards.
What You’ll Do

Architect, design, and develop Android features using Kotlin, Jetpack, Compose, and modern Android frameworks

Guide architectural progression, modularization, performance enhancements, and code quality

Partner with iOS, backend, design, and product collaborators to establish unified patterns

Contribute in Agile rituals, pair programming, and CI/CD pipelines

Ensure the app is performant, stable, and optimized for millions of customers

Support customer and revenue-critical workflows such as search, booking, and ancillary upsell

Mentor and elevate other Android developers

Work on customization, experimentation, and ML-driven initiatives
Must-Have Skills

7+ years professional Android development experience

Advanced expertise with Kotlin, Jetpack libraries, Coroutines, and Compose

Strong understanding of Android architecture (MVVM, MVI, Clean Architecture, modularization)

Experience building and scaling complex, consumer-facing Android platforms

Excellent communication and collaboration skills

Ability to lead technical direction and large initiative execution
