Senior Full Stack Software Engineer

Location: Shoreline, WA (moving to Northgate soon), 5 days/week onsite
Compensation: $130,000 - $160,000 base + 0.25% - 0.50% equity

About the Opportunity

We're partnering with a well-funded, early-stage AI startup that's transforming the commercial real estate industry. Their platform leverages AI and public data to help real estate professionals identify high-value opportunities and streamline deal sourcing.

As the company's first full-time engineering hire, you'll play a foundational role in building the product, influencing technical direction, and working directly alongside the founders. This is an ideal opportunity for someone who thrives in a fast-paced startup environment and wants meaningful ownership from day one.

What You'll Do

• Design, build, and ship features across the full stack using Python and React.
• Develop backend services, data pipelines, and intuitive frontend experiences.
• Build internal and customer-facing tools used daily by industry professionals.
• Partner closely with the founders to shape product direction and technical strategy.
• Write clean, maintainable code while moving quickly and iterating based on customer feedback.
• Take ownership of projects that directly impact customer growth and revenue.

What We're Looking For

• 1+ years of professional software engineering experience.
• Strong experience with Python and React.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related technical field preferred.
• Excited by the opportunity to build in an early-stage startup with significant ownership.
• Comfortable wearing multiple hats and solving problems with limited direction.
• Passion for shipping quickly and continuously improving products.

Bonus Qualifications

• Experience building data-driven applications or working with web scraping and APIs.
• Familiarity with CRM platforms or commercial real estate technology.
• Interest in AI-powered products or generative AI.
• Previous startup or founder experience.

Interview Process

1. Technical screen featuring two easy-to-medium coding challenges.
2. Technical interview including a system design discussion and an additional coding exercise.
3. Paid onsite work trial to collaborate with the team and experience the environment firsthand.
