Senior Frontend Engineer (Mobile)

About the Role
We're looking for a Senior Frontend Engineer to become the first dedicated frontend specialist on a highly technical engineering team. This person will own the end-to-end mobile and web experience for clinicians using the platform in real-world healthcare settings.
This is a unique opportunity to define frontend architecture, establish engineering best practices, and build products that directly improve the daily lives of healthcare professionals.
What You'll Do
- Own the frontend experience across mobile and web applications using React Native, Expo, and React
- Build solutions that perform reliably in challenging real-world environments, including limited connectivity and mobile-first workflows
- Establish frontend architecture, testing strategies, and development best practices
- Develop native functionality within React Native applications to support offline-first experiences and real-time user interactions
- Optimize performance, reliability, and usability as the platform continues to scale
- Collaborate closely with Product, Design, and Engineering teams to deliver intuitive user experiences
What We're Looking For
- 5+ years of frontend or mobile engineering experience
- Strong experience with React Native, Expo, TypeScript, and React
- Experience building and shipping production mobile applications
- Strong understanding of frontend architecture, performance optimization, and testing
- Ability to operate independently and take ownership of technical decisions
- Startup experience preferred
Compensation & Benefits
- Base Salary: $200,000 - $250,000
