The Opportunity
We're seeking a Senior Software Engineer with a strong backend focus to join a highly collaborative team of experienced engineers. This is an opportunity to work on complex technical challenges at the intersection of healthcare and AI while helping shape the future of a rapidly growing product.
You'll have significant ownership, partnering closely with engineering leadership to build and scale core services, launch new AI-powered capabilities, and influence technical direction.
What You'll Do
- Build and scale backend services that power AI and LLM-driven workflows
- Own projects from early prototypes through production deployment
- Design reliable, secure, and scalable systems for a rapidly growing customer base
- Improve architecture, observability, and engineering best practices
- Collaborate closely with engineers, product leaders, and company founders
- Help define the next generation of AI-powered healthcare software
What We're Looking For
- 5-10 years of software engineering experience
- Strong backend development experience, ideally with Python
- Startup experience, preferably in Seed through Series B environments
- Proven ability to take ownership and operate independently
- Experience building and scaling production systems
- Interest in AI, emerging technologies, and healthcare innovation
