The Role: Sales Engineer (North America)
This company is hiring a Sales Engineer to support a growing sales team and help drive adoption of a highly technical platform.

You’ll play a key role in the pre-sales process, working closely with prospects to understand their needs, demonstrate product value, and guide them through evaluation and implementation.


What You’ll Do

  • Partner with Sales to lead technical discovery, demos, and solution design
  • Build and showcase real-world use cases to demonstrate platform capabilities
  • Support trials by helping prospects achieve success criteria
  • Translate technical features into clear business value
  • Engage with technical stakeholders across engineering, data, and ML teams
  • Advise on architecture, integrations, and best practices
  • Troubleshoot issues across workflows, infrastructure, and deployments
  • Contribute to technical positioning against competitors
  • Represent the company at events and customer engagements

What They’re Looking For

  • 5+ years in a Sales Engineer or pre-sales role for a technical product
  • Experience with data platforms, machine learning systems, or ML infrastructure
  • Familiarity with tools like PyTorch, TensorFlow, Spark, Flink, or similar
  • Strong understanding of cloud environments (AWS, GCP, Azure) and modern infrastructure (Kubernetes, Docker, CI/CD)
  • Knowledge of distributed systems and production-grade pipelines
  • Comfortable operating in fast-paced, early-stage environments
  • Experience with sales methodologies (e.g., MEDDIC) is a plus
