Portfolio Lead Technical Program Manager – Enterprise Systems

Overview

We are seeking a senior Technical Program Manager to lead a portfolio of large-scale enterprise technology initiatives focused on back-office systems transformation. This role is responsible for driving delivery across multiple interconnected programs, partnering with senior business and technology leaders, and ensuring successful execution through strong portfolio governance, financial oversight, risk management, and stakeholder alignment.

The ideal candidate brings a combination of executive presence, program leadership, and enterprise systems experience, with the ability to influence outcomes across complex organizations and navigate ambiguity with confidence.

Responsibilities

  • Lead a portfolio of enterprise technology programs spanning multiple business units and stakeholder groups.
  • Drive portfolio governance through executive reporting, steering committees, status reviews, and decision-making forums.
  • Maintain visibility into program scope, schedules, milestones, risks, issues, dependencies, actions, and decisions across multiple initiatives.
  • Develop executive-level reporting, dashboards, portfolio metrics, financial tracking, and program health assessments.
  • Manage complex cross-functional dependencies to ensure alignment and successful delivery across workstreams.
  • Create structure and clarity in ambiguous environments where processes, ownership, or requirements are still evolving.
  • Facilitate discussions regarding priorities, tradeoffs, delivery risks, and strategic decisions.
  • Translate technical concepts into clear business language for executive and non-technical audiences.
  • Operate effectively across hybrid delivery models including Agile, Product, and Waterfall methodologies.
  • Provide leadership and guidance to program managers and project managers supporting the portfolio.
  • Build trusted relationships with business and technology leaders while influencing outcomes without direct authority.
  • Proactively identify and mitigate portfolio risks, escalations, and delivery challenges.

Qualifications

  • 7+ years of experience leading large-scale enterprise technology programs.
  • Demonstrated success managing complex portfolios involving multiple teams, stakeholders, and business functions.
  • Strong executive communication skills with experience presenting to senior leadership and facilitating strategic decisions.
  • Experience leading ERP, HCM, Finance, Accounting, Procurement, or enterprise systems transformation programs.
  • Experience with Oracle Fusion Cloud, Oracle ERP Cloud, Oracle HCM Cloud, PeopleSoft, or similar enterprise platforms.
  • Strong understanding of portfolio governance, financial tracking, budgeting, risk management, and dependency management.
  • Experience operating within hybrid Agile and Waterfall delivery environments.
  • Ability to influence senior leaders and drive accountability across organizations.
