Fuel Talent is partnering with a confidential UHNW family in their search for an exceptional Household Manager / Estate Manager to oversee the day-to-day operations of one or more residences. This role will serve as a key partner in ensuring the residences run seamlessly, providing a high level of service, organization, and operational excellence.
The ideal candidate is proactive, detail-oriented, and highly organized, with a strong sense of ownership and pride in their work. This person thrives in a fast-paced, ever-changing environment, anticipates needs before they arise, and operates with a high level of discretion, professionalism, and emotional intelligence. They are hands-on, resourceful, and willing to jump in wherever needed to ensure the home and household operate at the highest level.
Responsibilities:
  • Oversee daily operations of the home, ensuring it is consistently organized, maintained, and guest-ready
  • Manage and coordinate all vendors, service providers, and household staff
  • Schedule and oversee routine maintenance, repairs, and larger home projects
  • Conduct regular walkthroughs of the property to ensure everything is functioning properly
  • Manage household inventory including groceries, supplies, and household essentials
  • Coordinate and manage vehicle maintenance, registration, and insurance as needed
  • Plan and execute household events, dinners, and gatherings
  • Oversee guest experience including preparation of the home and coordination during visits
  • Manage mail, deliveries, and household communications
  • Maintain organized systems for household records, manuals, and documentation
  • Run errands and support day-to-day household and family needs
  • Partner with Executive Assistants or Personal Assistants to ensure alignment between household and business priorities
  • Identify opportunities to improve efficiency and proactively implement systems and processes
  • Assist with special projects and ad hoc requests
Requirements:
  • Bachelor’s degree typically preferred or equivalent experience
  • 5 to 10+ years of experience in household management, estate management, or similar roles within private residences
  • Proven experience managing vendors, projects, and household operations in a high-end or complex environment
  • Strong organizational skills with exceptional attention to detail
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • High level of discretion, professionalism, and sound judgment when handling confidential information
  • Ability to prioritize, multitask, and remain calm under pressure
  • Proactive, resourceful, and solutions-oriented mindset
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to work with families, staff, and vendors
  • Tech savvy with familiarity of smart home systems and modern tools
  • Hands-on approach with willingness to step in and assist wherever needed
  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
  • Flexible and adaptable with a no task too small attitude
  • Ability to run errands as needed
  • Willingness to work evenings or weekends as needed

Compensation Range Example:
The typical base salary range that we tend to see for a Household Manager / Estate Manager in the Greater Seattle area with 5 to 10 years of experience is $90,000 to $150,000, depending on experience, scope, number of properties, and complexity of the role etc. Many roles may also include bonus, healthcare stipends, or additional benefits depending on the structure of the position.
