Their proprietary hardware and software platform enables high-performance detection, tracking, and situational awareness in challenging environments, serving customers across autonomous systems, aerospace, defense, transportation, critical infrastructure, and public safety.

As the company continues to grow, they are looking for an experienced engineering leader to build high-performing teams and deliver software powering real-world products deployed in the field.

  • Partner closely with product, hardware, research, and cross-functional teams to deliver integrated solutions.
  • Incorporate customer and field feedback into product and technical roadmaps.
  • Establish engineering best practices around architecture, code quality, testing, and development processes.
  • Foster a culture of ownership, collaboration, and continuous improvement.

Qualifications

  • Strong technical background with hands-on experience across modern software stacks.
  • Experience with technologies such as Rust, Python, React, or comparable languages and frameworks.
  • Deep understanding of software architecture spanning front end, middleware, APIs, and distributed systems.
  • Experience delivering customer-facing products from planning through production.
  • Proven ability to build and scale highly available, mission-critical systems.
  • Passion for hiring, coaching, and developing engineers.

Preferred

  • Track record of building engineering teams in startup, high-growth, or R&D environments.
  • Experience leading cross-functional initiatives involving software, hardware, research, and data science teams.
  • Strong execution mindset with the ability to operate autonomously in ambiguous environments.
  • Collaborative, low-ego leadership style with a focus on team success and customer impact.
