DevSecOps Engineer

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and operate scalable cloud infrastructure that supports a growing set of distributed applications.
• Improve internal platform capabilities so engineering teams can deploy and operate services efficiently.
• Develop and maintain container orchestration environments and supporting tooling.
• Enhance system visibility through monitoring, logging, and alerting improvements.
• Evolve deployment pipelines and release workflows to support frequent, reliable delivery.
• Partner with engineering teams to support new services and ensure infrastructure scales with demand.
• Troubleshoot production issues and proactively improve reliability and resilience.
• Implement and maintain security best practices aligned with industry standards.
• Contribute to automation, operational documentation, and platform standards.
• Collaborate on cloud usage insights and optimization strategies.

Experience

• 4–6 years of experience in platform engineering, DevOps, SRE, or related infrastructure roles.
• Experience operating containerized workloads in production environments.
• Strong familiarity with a major public cloud provider and core infrastructure concepts (networking, identity, compute, storage).
• Experience supporting production systems with a focus on performance, reliability, and scalability.
• Exposure to regulated or security-conscious environments is helpful.

Technical Skills

• Experience with infrastructure-as-code tooling.
• Experience building and maintaining automated deployment workflows.
• Familiarity with monitoring and observability tooling.
• Working knowledge of modern cloud security practices.
• Exposure to cost monitoring or resource optimization tools.

Nice to Have

• Experience working in high-growth or evolving engineering environments.
• Exposure to data-intensive, analytics, or AI-related infrastructure.
• Experience participating in incident response processes.
• Interest in improving automation around security or operational controls.
