Data Engineer
3–5 years | SQL Server, SSIS, T-SQL, VisualCron, C#/.NET
What you’ll do
Design, build, and maintain ETL and ELT pipelines using SQL Server and SSIS.
Create advanced VisualCron workflows using API triggers, cloud tasks, storage or file events, and .NET scripting.
Develop and optimize T-SQL queries, stored procedures, indexes, and database objects for performance and reliability.
Automate monitoring, alerting, error handling, retry logic, SFTP transfers, and operational recovery processes.
Support secure, resilient, 24/7 data operations and troubleshoot production pipeline issues through resolution.
Manage source control, change documentation, and deployments through Bitbucket and established release practices.
Partner with engineering and business stakeholders to translate data requirements into maintainable solutions.
What you’ll bring
3–5 years of professional experience in data engineering, database development, or a closely related role.
Strong hands-on expertise with Microsoft SQL Server and advanced T-SQL.
Demonstrated experience developing SSIS packages and production ETL/ELT pipelines.
Hands-on VisualCron experience, including event-driven workflows and external-system integrations.
Working knowledge of .NET and C# for automation, scripting, or integration support.
Solid understanding of relational database design, data warehousing concepts, and performance tuning.
Experience using Git-based source control and Bitbucket for deployment and change management.
Strong troubleshooting, documentation, and asynchronous communication skills.
Preferred qualifications
Experience supporting regulated, high-availability, or data-sensitive environments.
Familiarity with APIs, cloud tasks, secure file exchange, and enterprise scheduling platforms.
