Cybersecurity Delivery & Change Coordinator
We are seeking a Cybersecurity Delivery & Change Coordinator to help lead and mature cybersecurity change management practices across a complex enterprise technology environment.
This role sits at the intersection of cybersecurity architecture, engineering, and IT operations, ensuring that changes affecting security tools, infrastructure, and services are properly planned, governed, documented, and executed with minimal risk to the business.
The ideal candidate brings strong technical project management/coordination experience, a solid understanding of ITIL change management processes, and familiarity working with cybersecurity or infrastructure teams.
This is a high-visibility role requiring excellent communication skills, strong organizational discipline, and the ability to coordinate cross-functional technical stakeholders in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities
Cybersecurity Change Management Execution
- Coordinate and support the end-to-end change management lifecycle for cybersecurity-related initiatives, including intake, planning, review, implementation, validation, and post-change analysis.
- Ensure cybersecurity considerations are consistently incorporated into broader enterprise IT change initiatives.
- Help ensure changes impacting security tools, infrastructure, and services are executed safely and with appropriate governance.
Cross-Functional Technical Coordination
- Partner closely with cybersecurity architecture, security engineering, IT infrastructure, and operations teams to plan and sequence technical changes.
- Coordinate activities such as configuration updates, policy changes, control implementations, patching activities, and infrastructure modifications affecting security platforms.
- Identify dependencies and ensure alignment across multiple technical stakeholders.
Governance & Risk Management
- Facilitate or support Change Advisory Board (CAB) meetings and other governance forums.
- Ensure appropriate risk assessment, approvals, documentation, and communication occur prior to implementation of technical changes.
- Maintain accurate and complete change records within enterprise ITSM tools.
Process Improvement & Operational Maturity
- Help design, refine, and operationalize structured intake and review processes for cybersecurity-related changes.
- Track key metrics related to change effectiveness, including success rates, emergency changes, incidents tied to change activity, and cycle time.
- Identify opportunities to improve change reliability, reduce risk, and increase operational consistency.
Communication & Reporting
- Provide clear status updates and reporting to technical teams and leadership stakeholders.
- Ensure transparency of risks, dependencies, and change impacts across the organization.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives within cybersecurity delivery practices.
Required Qualifications
- 3+ years of experience in technical project management, program management, or delivery coordination within IT, cybersecurity, or infrastructure environments.
- Direct experience supporting change management processes within enterprise technology environments.
- Experience coordinating cross-functional technical initiatives involving multiple teams and dependencies.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, including experience presenting status, risks, and recommendations to technical stakeholders.
- Ability to operate effectively in fast-paced, evolving environments with competing priorities.
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Cybersecurity, Engineering, Business, or related field (or equivalent experience).
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience working within cybersecurity organizations such as security engineering, SOC, GRC, or security architecture.
- Familiarity with ITIL-based change management frameworks.
- Experience supporting changes related to security tooling, infrastructure, or identity platforms.
- Certifications such as PMP, ITIL, Agile, SAFe, CISSP, CISM, Security+, or similar are a plus.
- Experience working with enterprise ITSM platforms (e.g., ServiceNow, Remedy, Jira Service Management).
Work Environment
- Hybrid preferred, but strong remote candidates will be considered.
- Must be able to work Pacific Time hours.
- Highly collaborative environment with cross-functional technical stakeholders.
