Boomi Integration Developer
HRIS, Payroll & Core Systems | Boomi AtomSphere, SQL Server, reusable integration frameworks
What you’ll do
Design, build, test, deploy, and support integrations connecting HRIS, payroll, benefits, and core administration platforms.
Develop reusable Boomi templates and frameworks that balance standardized multi-client delivery with client-specific configuration.
Build database-backed feeds using SQL Server, including delta detection, employee/member matching, keying logic, and reconciliation controls.
Integrate with PrismHR or comparable platforms such as Workday, UKG, and ADP using APIs, files, databases, and vendor connectors.
Develop maintainable processes, maps, profiles, connector operations, cross-reference tables, document/process properties, and reusable sub-processes.
Implement robust exception handling, retries, batching, alerting, SLA monitoring, and production-support workflows.
Manage Boomi deployments, extensions, environment promotions, packaged components, and Atom operations.
Support secure SFTP and PGP exchanges, vendor delivery standards, file naming, retention, and archival conventions.
Migrate legacy point-to-point integrations to shared templates, reusable components, and governed engineering patterns.
Create test harnesses, validate with synthetic data in TEST, and maintain accurate Jira updates, runbooks, mapping documents, and operational handoffs.

What you’ll bring
5+ years of hands-on Boomi AtomSphere integration development experience.
Deep knowledge of Boomi processes, maps and map functions, XML, JSON, flat-file and EDI profiles, connectors, operations, properties, and cross-reference tables.
Experience integrating HRIS, payroll, benefits administration, or other enterprise SaaS and core platforms.
Strong SQL Server skills, including the ability to write and tune queries behind production feeds.
Demonstrated experience with delta processing, identity matching, reconciliation, and multi-tenant or multi-client integration patterns.
Strong Boomi process-design discipline, including reusable sub-processes, error routing, retries, batching, and component governance.
Ability to write Groovy or JavaScript when appropriate while prioritizing maintainable native Boomi capabilities.
Experience with Git-style versioning, branch-based development, documented change management, and Bitbucket.
Working knowledge of HIPAA and PHI handling in logs, test data, tickets, and operational workflows.
Clear written English, strong asynchronous communication, and daily overlap with U.S. business hours.
Preferred qualifications
Boomi Professional Developer or Architect certification.
Experience with PrismHR, Workday, UKG, ADP, or comparable HRIS/payroll platforms.
Benefits administration experience involving enrollment, FSA, HRA, COBRA, or carrier data exchange.
Experience with Boomi API Management, Event Streams, Flow, Companion, or AI-assisted development tools.
